Carb cycling
Carb cycling redistributes carbohydrates between high and low days, keeping or adjusting the weekly total.
Also known as: Carbohydrate cycling
The idea is placing more carbohydrate on demanding training days and less on light or rest days. It can help adherence and energy, but it does not create fat loss by itself.
The decisive factor for weight loss or gain remains the energy balance over time. So carb cycling should be understood as organization, not a metabolic shortcut.
