Body fat percentage

Body fat percentage estimates how much of your body weight comes from fat mass.

Also known as: Body fat % · BF%

The number can be estimated by different methods, such as skinfolds, bioimpedance, imaging or measurement-based equations. Every method carries a margin of error.

The most useful approach is comparing measurements taken the same way over time, instead of treating a single reading as absolute truth.
