Carbohydrates

Carbohydrates are a macronutrient that provides energy and helps sustain more intense or higher-volume workouts.

Also known as: Carbs

In a training context, carbohydrates are usually adjusted according to total energy, goal, routine and individual tolerance. They do not need to be treated as enemies or as an isolated solution.

The daily amount has to fit within total calories and the rest of the diet. This is an educational explanation, not a dietary prescription.
