Bi-set

A bi-set is performing two exercises back to back, without rest, usually for the same muscle group.

Also known as: Same-muscle superset

Unlike the classic superset (which usually pairs antagonists, like biceps and triceps), the bi-set typically stacks two exercises for the same muscle to increase density and metabolic stimulus in less time. Example: bench press followed immediately by flyes.

It is a good tool when time is short or for occasional intensification, but it generates more fatigue — it does not need to be everywhere. SelfShapeAI can slot bi-sets in when they fit your time and goal, without compromising the week's quality volume.
