BFR / blood flow restriction
BFR is training with partially restricted blood flow to generate stimulus with lighter loads.
Also known as: Occlusion training
The technique uses cuffs or specific wraps to increase metabolic stress with light to moderate loads. It can be useful in well-controlled contexts, but it demands care with pressure, execution and individual history.
That is why BFR should not become improvisation or a substitute for base training. SelfShapeAI can log the session and organize the plan, but the decision to use occlusion needs context and, when in doubt, professional guidance.
